het starzelhaus
The Starzelhaus is positioned right at the very end of Kleinwalsertal in the idyllic mountain village of Baad. It will take you just a few hundred meters walking uphill before you reach our hotel/inn, the "Starzelhaus" - it is the last house in the valley.
At 1,300 meters, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the majestic Widderstein and its smaller neighbors. You can hear the silence! No cars ... no through traffic ... only mountain bikers, hikers and other nature lovers.
Many of our visitors know that Starzel means "very steep". The path winds upwards from the center of Baad to the hotel/inn. Free parking is of course available for our guests. If you arrive by bus, we would be happy to arrange a pick-up transfer.
The Starzelhaus has 3 furnished double rooms and a spacious apartment for 2 to 7 people. All rooms have a bath or shower and a balcony.
You can enjoy our specialties all year round on the sunny panoramic terrace or in our typical Austrian restaurant. We offer a variety of more than 25 different beers (mainly Belgian Trappist and Abbey beers).
On our menu you will find Austrian specialties (Kaiserschmarrn, Käsespätzle, ...) as well as international dishes (pasta, pizza, nachos, fajitas ...). We also would be happy to organize a grill, fondue or raclette evening for you. Or maybe you'd prefer a karaoke evening with friends?
